Due to expansion in the Bristol area an exciting opportunity has arose for a professional Project Surveyor/ Senior QS to join a leading national company that believe in strong work ethics. My client are one of the biggest, leading new build/ construction build firms in England and do lots of work in the refurb & commercial markets. The salary offered for this role is from £38-45k & includes excellent benefits. To apply for this role my client is looking for the skills & attributes as listed below:-

• Retail experience (ideally in new build, commercial, fit outs, alternations & design & build), however applicants from other background maybe considered.
• Solid Career History within Surveyering
• Able to run with the job and make it there own
• Flexible & willing to cover whole of Bristol in relation to project surveyoring
• Flexible, as there is a possibly that you could be staying away for 2-3 nights a week
• Able to work quickly, smartly to ensure the project is done in the time frame required.
• Able to lead a commercial project team
• Able to report to managing qs
• Able to work on cost plans, budgets for full sub contractors procurement
• Able to deal with settlement & agreement of final accounts
• Experience in dealing with financial reporting
• Ideally of dealt with projects ranging from £5-20m (however applicants with strong background will be considered)
• Ideally to have an HND/ DEGREE/OND within Quality Surveying
• Able to take ownership, make the role there own
• Able to deal with fast speed work
• Good Project/ Surveying skills (able to deal with estimating /cost and the project in hand)
