Architectural Technician required for firmly established company within the West Midlands

This company is firmly established within the West Midlands history books and celebrates it's 70th anniversary next year. Located in the city centre of Birmingham, the company has roots in the motor industry in the heart of Birmingham during its motor revolution. Nearly 70 years on, they maintain a steady force in the Architectural industry and have diversified to establish themselves in many other sectors whilst still retaining the automotive roots. Sectors covered by them now are Residential, Mixed use, Education and Commercial.

Job Requirements
Currently the office has around 30 staff headed up by 3 Partners, including a mixture of Architects and Technicians at varying degrees in their careers. The company work in a very flexible way, offering staff a chance to work on virtually every project the practice has, therefore expanding your own portfolio.

A typical project value is in the region of £10M, with others going up to over £20M. A technically astute Technician is required to bolster the firm and be involved at an intermediate level. You do not need to have experience in a job running sense, or have worked in the industry for any length of time, but you must have experience of working in a practice and getting to grips with planning applications, production information and building regulations.

You will be expected to produce details using CAD for all manner of projects. If you possess this experience, and have a OND/HND in Building Construction please do get in touch!
