Due to new & exciting contracts gained locally within its Construction sector they are recruiting for a professional COMMERICAL MANAGER to cover the South West area. Applicants that apply must be dedicated in moving the business forward. The Salary for this unique role depends on the level of experience however ranges from £40-60k depending on the applicants skill level. • Able to professional deliver profitable growth in relation to the project in hand
• Able to lead the commercial and contractual aspects of a project or business area to support operations and strategies with the objective of minimising risks and maximizing opportunities at all times and avoiding disputes
• Able to support the maintenance and delivery of the started profits and margins
• Must have experience of robust and consistent change control processes on the project/area to ensure that aprox contract price adjustments are identified and agree with the client.
• Able to Identify and calculate an appropriate risk and opportunity allowances and their active management
• Able to deliver consistent value and cost reporting, as required for business unit and project control and review.
• Must be a team player and be able to work with the commercial director for the business unit to support business group and plc wide community issues including securing consistent commercial processes and philosophies, succession planning, staff selection, development and training and dispute management.
• Able to provide professional focus, identity and leadership to the commercial function within the project or business area consistent with group wide standards and objectives.
• Applicants must be able to win new projects and support work winning teams including bidding for new tenders & obtaining new projects
• Have a full understanding of Health & Safety values on site & risk assessments
• Must have a full understanding of effective performance management
• Must be able to deliver a contract and support awarding teams.
• Must be able to give high level of service at all time to client and end users
• Able to manage others to achieve strict deadlines
