My client is a leading Construction & Build Firm based in the BRISTOL area. Its deals with commercial projects such as PFI Hospitals, Schools, Office Blocks, Warehouse & Retail work (but not fit outs) & Defense suits. The average project ranges from £2-20m depending on the size of the project & weather it is a major refurb or new build.    

Due to new & exciting contracts gained locally within its Commercial sector they are now recruiting for a professional PROJECT MANAGER / SENIOR SITE MANAGER who is hungry to join a company that will invest in there career. Applicants that apply must have worked within a similar industry and have had relevant experience. The salary for this role depends on the skills & attributes of the individual but ranges from £35-45k along with good benefits (like Car or allowance, pension, health cover, life cover & over 24 days holiday) 

My client is dedicated in finding the right people find time, every time and is looking for the right applicant who has experience in the following areas :-

• Ideally of worked on projects like; Schools, Universities, Office Build, Warehouse/Retails (but not fit out) & Hospitals (this is required due to the nature of the role)
• Worked on projects from £1.5m - £5m with the above industries
• Worked on projects within refurb and new build
• Be ambitious & looking to advance within a growing commercial company that deal with lots of main contracting work
• Degree qualified or equivalent would be advantageous, however not essential
• Ideally to be local as project that the company due with are near Bristol & in surrounding areas (however this is not essential)
• Looking for a new challenge
• Able to build relationships, cost issues & budgets
• Previous experience of being the NO 1 when the Contracts Manager is away and acting on there behalf
• Ideally of worked for large contractor before.
