• Must have good working knowledge of one functional area through job experience & training
• Must have extensive experience within this line of business
• Be part qualified for equivalent & have relevant certificates for this sector
• Good understanding of drawings/ specifications relating to the role
• Able to provide relevant information and guidance to operatives/ subcontractors to enable them to work accurately, promptly and safely
• Good on the job experience relating to the role
• Must be able to identify ways to reduce costs
• Able to work within a given budget, usually without authorized spend of their own
• Experience of assisting staff who are not as qualified of the role & disciplinary procedures
• Able to interact with clients or users around specific work projects
• Able to supervise others and meet strict deadline and quality standards taking account of impact outside area of responsibility
• Must have previous experience within Infrastructure & construction related industries.
