Due to recently won contracts within the South West my client is now resourcing for a highly experienced Mechanical Estimating Engineer within the M&E sector. This company have been established within England for over 20 years & succeed where others fail. They are leading building services companies who have an annual turnover of over £150m so are highly successful. The salary for this role depends on the skills & attributes of the person applying for the role. The role will be based in Plymouth & will start immediately for the successful applicant. • An understanding and interpretation of contract documents
• Able to quantify mechanical services from drawings, specification and schedules.
• Have experience of site
• Able to liaise with clients, main contractors and consultants
• Able to prepare material plant and sub contract enquiries
• Able to price competitively, deal with plant and services quotations
• Able to prepare tender letters and presentations
• To apply you must have an engineering qualification
• Must have previous estimating or appropriate building services industry experience
• Must be highly motivated with good communication skills
• Must be able to hit deadlines
