| *Working with the Site Operations Supervisor to develop effective management of the available Electrical resource including task scheduling, allocation, and completion with satisfactory quality levels maintained throughout. *Establish and maintain effective PPM schedules to ensure compliance to all wiring, H&S regulations and EFS operational procedures. *Establish and maintain stock control of essential electrical consumables *Provide technical support to the electrical team to ensure procurement of correct and suitable replacement equipment *Ensure all electrical works are undertaken in accordance with wiring regulations and all current NICEIC operational procedures *Provide guidance to on-site electrical team ensuring NICEIC documentation is completed satisfactorily *Maintain the ongoing accuracy of all test equipment *Be responsible to safeguard all unused NICEIC documentation with the forms held in a secure place *Identify, control and continually assess all 3rd party electrical installers used on-site to ensure all electrical works undertaken will be carried out by competent persons who are adequately trained & appropriately supervised, including verification of competency *Develop and maintain Inspection & Testing reporting procedure-ensuring non-conformances are identified with appropriate rectification proposals. *Liaise with EFS Qualified Supervisor on all matters regarding electrical inspection & test *Achieve "Authorised Persons- AP" Status to ensure implementation of EFS Safe Systems of Work procedures oLV - Electrical oAGL - Airfield Ground Lighting oHazardous Areas Qualifications & Experience *C&G2391 Inspection & Testing - Essential as a minimum *C&G2400 would be advantageous *IOSH - Managing Safely *COMPEX National Certificate *Fully conversant with the NICEIC inspection, testing, certification and operational procedures *Minimum of 3 years team leadership experience *Demonstrate suitable experience in the management/supervision of electrical projects/installations *Good working knowledge of MS Office and E-mail Other "Person" Factors *Excellent communication skills both written and oral, *Able to plan, organise, prioritise workload *Reliable, diligent & conscientious *Self Starter & Motivator *Team Player *Appointment subject to Defence Vetting Agency security clearance | ||
