	Job Description:



	One of the leading support services groups in the UK are currently looking for a Site Engineer to work in the West Midlands. The company serves clients in the utility sectors - gas, water, electricity and telecommunications as well as providing repair and maintenance and capital investment services to local authorities. The successful candidate will be taking the lead on identifying and delivering cost effective design solutions on part of a £100M+ project including a new duel carriageway, motorway junctions and associated highways improvements. You will be working on complex highways schemes and demonstrate Technical Excellence in Highways Engineering. Key tasks include assisting in the management of resources, agreeing to briefs, programmes and budgets, preparing design, reports and specifications, and monitoring and approving designs. They are keen to recruit a Chartered Civil Engineer (or equivalent qualification) that has had demonstrable experience of working on UK Highways schemes. Good knowledge of Highways Agency procedures and computer design tools is also essential. The role will include a competitive salary (circa £38000+ depending on experience) and full package.
