| Principle duties include the service delivery of reactive and planned maintenance tasks on M & E Operational Equipment, Fabric of the building and managing the customers expectation to set Service Level Agreements. This is a Full Facility Management contract and the jobholder must be a proactive multidisciplined individual. The team consists of 25 team members and direct control of some 30 subcontracts, it is vital that the engineer is flexible and has the ability to work unsupervised promoting good customer service. Principle Accountabilities: Work in accordance with British Airways safe system of work. To carry out repairs and routine maintenance to building services and fabric within the agreed service levels for the various locations. To assist the management of the site team in the day-to-day running of the site. Carrying out risk assessments and complete daily timesheets. Work within relevant H&S rules and regulations. Raise and issue Permits as necessary. Participate in the continuing development of the customer service culture with British Airways by appropriate communication with the customer. Promote the FM Team culture by good teamwork with colleagues and subcontractors Qualifications and Experience: The Service Engineer should have City & Guilds 16th Edition 236 Part 1&2. They should have experience of working on all the various Electrical / Mechanical equipment within the Building. i.e. Boilers, AHUs, VAVs, Chilling/Air Conditioning, Water/Gas Services, Lighting systems , Fire Alarm Systems, Power distribution and Building Management Systems. The candidate should have excellent communication and customer service skills, as they will be the main point of contact for contractors attending site. They should have an understanding of current Health and Safety regulations. The candidate should have basic computer literacy skills, and an understanding of service level agreements. A flexible work ethic is required for this role as the candidate will be asked to work at different locations, on a callout basis with out of hours and weekend work. It is vital that the candidate is flexible, and has the ability to work unsupervised or within a small team, with a can do attitude, promoting good customer service. Other Factors Candidates should have a clean driving licence and should be located within easy access of Heathrow Airport. | ||
