| This integrated highways services company offer a comprehensive, unique and innovative range of contracting, asset management and consultancy skills. They are currently looking for a Structures Investigation Group Manager/Director. The ideal candidiate will have will have sound marketing experience as this role has been created to develop and promote our business in the South of England. This role also requires that candidate to have technical knowledge as well as marketing. This role will require the candidate to travel around the South of England (Kent, London, Dorset, and Hampshire) as well as attending meetings in Area 1 (Devon and Cornwall). You will be reporting to the Contracts Director/Structures Technical Director, your role will be to market the activities of the clients Structures Investigation Group (SIG) in the London area and southern England, including Transport for London, Highways Agency Areas 3,4 and 5; London boroughs, county and district councils; and private and public companies involved in the management of structures. The SIG Director/Manager will be responsible to the Contracts Director/Structures Technical Director for the overall delivery and co-ordination of all activities relating to the day-to-day operational management, and maintenance of the Structures Investigation Group. Duties will include but not be restricted to maintaining communication and liaison with SIG technical director and other team members, customers and key stakeholders. Typical Skills/Experience will include Programme and budget management, excellent presentation and communication skills, proficient in project management and application of business acumen and be a motivator and good people manager.
