| This integrated highways services company offer a comprehensive, unique and innovative range of contracting, asset management and consultancy skills. They are currently looking for a Traffic Signing Engineer to be based in the Exeter office with a working knowledge of traffic signing and signing strategies for the Area 1 MAC in Devon and Cornwall. Experience of administering traffic sign policy, including tourism signing, would also be an advantage. The role will include development of signing strategies, preparation and checking of temporary and permanent traffic orders to ensure compliance, consultation and liaison with key stakeholders, local authorities, members of the public and client technical approval authorities, and preparing and checking of traffic sign drawings and schedules. Candidates should be proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Key Sign, and Keyline's. An Affiliation with appropriate Civil Engineering Institute would be preferable, an engineering qualification, including highways aspects and demonstrable experience in highways design/maintenance is essential. Salary will be negotiable dependant on experience. | ||
