| Project Manager - Decent Homes East London £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience) + package My client is a blue chip company with a fantastic reputation in the construction industry. Although this company mainly deals with new build construction projects, it has a large 'Decent Homes' team which operates nationally. ''In 1997 there were 2.1 million houses owned by local authorities and housing associations that did not meet the decent homes standard. Local authorities had a £19 bn backlog of repairs and improvements.'' Due to this there is much ongoing work on affordable and council homes meaning this position offers longevity. Being for a major company it also offers the opportunity for internal advancement and promotion. The successful candidate will have either worked on 'Decent Homes' projects, worked as a maintenance manager or will have good experience in the house building industry.
