	This company is a leading UK construction main contractor founded in 1869, operating in the building, civil engineering and related maintenance markets. They are currently looking for a Design Manager to work on a large town centre redevelopment in Cornwall. You will be a member of the Regional Management team involved in Business Development activities., provide advice, assistance, mentoring and support to the Design Management staff and monitor progress., work closely with other departmental heads such as the Estimating, Construction and Planning Managers to ensure the effective delivery of the Design Management function within the region, provide assistance on CDP elements for traditional tenders, continue with the Design Management, setting up information control systems and ensuring information is received to scheduled dates, is practical for construction purposes and satisfied the contractual obligations on successful bids. Candidiate will be professionally qualified, preferably CIOB with NVQ Level 4 Civil and Structural Engineering Designer or Building Site Manager. It is essential that you have experience in a similar role. The package on offer will be commensurate with relevant experience and regionally appropriate with all the usual fringe benefits associated with a position of this importance.
